North of Lakeshore Media is a new Toronto-based film and media production company built from the ground up to defy the algorithm. In a media environment that prioritizes fast, disposable content, we exist to craft films, series, documentaries, and other media with depth, intention, and artistic integrity. We firmly believe that stories told by artists with potent, uncompromising points of view can compete in the new media age by earning attention through thought-provoking storytelling rather than chasing the cheap clicks the algorithm rewards.
